Selling online comics

Thanks to Jonathan Kepple for posting some news in the trAce forum about Scott McCloud's latest attempt to sell comics online.

Personally I think micropayment systems like Paypal are the way to go for individuals trying to sell digital content direct to the general public. I signed up for an account and am hoping to start using it in anger real soon now.

Whether people want to read comics off a computer screen is another matter. I guess if we all get high res colour printers in our homes, we can simply subscribe and then print out our own hard copies to suit. More plausible would be to rethink how comics might change their form to suit the online medium.
