The lost Oldton holiday camp

Here are some postcards from the Oldton holiday camp, which used to have its own train line, a cable car system and exclusive access to a lovely sandy beach. Is this the beach where your dad died? I'm sorry of it is.

There are quite a few 'disappeared' holiday camps across the UK. If you don't believe me, take a look at http://www.butlinsmemories.com/. Quite often the only thing left is the gravel path where the train track used to be. Perhaps by looking for the path, you'll find your way home.
