The odds against these cards existing were high and yet here they are. I had a good laugh when I received my pack yesterday. It’s a victory - a middle digit extended in the direction of adversity.

I also wondered how future archaeologists would react if they were to come across one of these decks of cards a few hundred years from now. Would their discovery would provoke a search for the ruins of Oldton in the same way that people vainly search for physical evidence of Camelot?

Roll that idea around for a while: Oldton – like Camelot, only with terraced housing.
