Another year leading the Creative Producing for Digital Platforms (CPDP) course at NFTS has flown by.
The 8 students we have this year are in the throes of completing their Final Projects that include such concepts as a mixed reality live music concert, a 360-film documentary about UK Hindu festivals, a social media storytelling app for Uber users and a VR karaoke game.
I’m always amazed by the progress students make in just one year, most of them coming to us with little or no experience of digital producing and leaving with the capability to deliver a wide range of sophisticated prototypes. Oh - and quite a few of them get decent jobs at the end of it for companies such as Warner Brothers, LittleDot Studios, BBC R&D and Sky VR
So you guessed it – it’s time to find another cohort of talented people who might be prepared to hang out with me and various other talented digital types for a year. Full details of the course are here.
I’ll also be at an NFTS Creative Careers Evening at the BFI (Stephen Street, London) on Monday 25 November, starting 18.45. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have. See you there?
